Hello all! I’ve spent some time over the weekend with a browser extension, created out of the small daily frustrations from meetings. Used on Google Meet, it’s called voluMeet: it’s made to solve the chaos in daily standups with global and individual volume sliders for each participant, with a 0–300% adjustment (max +30 dB) for colleagues who can barely be heard or are too loud =)) It’s a Manifest V3 extension and written in vanilla JS, runs client-side without servers/trackers, and uses the Web Audio API. Chrome store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/volumeet-sound-control-fo/gahglaockodjcomeidmkgejgnjcacagl (coming soon) Firefox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/volumeet-sound-control-4-meet/ I’m curious to hear any perspective, whether good or bad. If you take a look I’d be super grateful =) Thanks a lot for the feedback! submitted by /u/LookasV |
