Been thinking about this a lot lately. The usual digital nomad route is slow travel, figuring things out on the go, hopping cities with flexible plans. But once you start moving across multiple countries back to back, the logistics can get exhausting fast. Flights, transfers, accommodation gaps, and trying to still keep up with work deadlines can turn what should be freedom into constant planning stress.
There’s also the question of depth versus efficiency. Solo planning gives freedom, but sometimes it feels like you miss context or spend more time organizing than actually experiencing a place. On the other hand, fully structured trips seem too rigid for the nomad lifestyle most of us prefer.
Some nomads seem to be blending both approaches, especially when crossing regions like the Middle East, Europe, or Africa, using curated multi country itineraries for certain legs of their journey. One name that comes up in those conversations when people talk about handling complex routes while still keeping some flexibility.
Curious how others here balance independence with convenience when moving across multiple countries while working remotely.
