Getting ready for a zoom meeting a few weeks ago, I had the idea to build an app for giving people better lighting for video calls :) Your thoughts?

While getting ready for a zoom call a few weeks back I was looking at my video feed and not liking my lighting very much, I have an intel mac and apple released a similar feature but only for for new M2 macs, and only for Facetime, it isn’t feature dense at all and lacks any customizability.

So I decided to build one, I made it super customizable and feature dense and released it to the Apple Mac Store. If people like it enough I will release on the Windows Store as well for PC.

I figured its a cheap enough solution that lots of people who have to sit on video calls every day would appreciate an upgrade to their default lighting situations.

I threw some video summaries onto the App Store Previews. Im planning on recording some Tutorial videos this week.

The one or two people i’ve I have shown have loved it, you can definitely dial in your lighting to whatever lighting conditions you may have in your office, and it only gets better if you have multiple monitors.
