I’m sharing this to warn others working online or selling digital services.
My Whop account was suspended after one legitimate sale.
Before selling anything, I completed all required verification steps, including company documents and personal ID. The verification process was completed successfully, and I only started selling after Whop confirmed my account was approved.
The product that was sold — a digital educational lesson — including its content, description, and fulfillment method, was reviewed and approved by Whop before going live.
There were no chargebacks, no disputes, and no abnormal activity. The lesson was real, properly delivered, and matched the approved description.
After the suspension, I contacted Whop support multiple times to clarify the situation and offer any additional documentation, but received either no response or generic, evasive replies.
If a platform approves your account, approves your content, allows a sale, and then shuts everything down after the first transaction, labeling it as “fraud,” that’s a serious risk for freelancers and online professionals.
Posting this so others can decide whether Whop is a reliable platform for their online work.
