edit- talked the company directly and those poor people have been getting calls all day about this. apparently one woman spent over two hours on the phone with the scammers. i hope she didn’t give up any personal information 🙁
Applied for a job, got an email today that they want to interview me.
Company is in Oklahoma. The number is from California. I looked it up and even though it is a Cali number it came up as operating out of Oklahoma.
Never been asked to call a hiring manager much less via an app. There was a link for Signal, I didn’t click it, I already have Signal. Plus, I don’t click fishy links.
What do y’all think, scam?
