Wireless headset issues

I feel like I am truly cursed.

I want a wireless headset for work. I use the USB port not Bluetooth.

I had a basic $30/50 one that worked well for over a year until the mic gave out.

Ever since, I have had issues. I bought four more headsets in that price range and none connected. After some more disasters I dropped $150 on the Sony Pulse. First wouldn’t connect. Replacement worked for four months five months and then started incessantly beeping. When I troubleshooted it with support, it stopped connecting at all. In the meantime I bought a Corsair Hs55 that started beeping in day one but today (day 12) it stopped working at all

Any suggestions as to a cause for this curse?
