I will try to be brief and I tend to ramble on with these things.
My life certainly did not end up the way I thought it would. At all.
I ended up teaching internationally for over a decade. I lived in many countries and traveled to even more.
I love the international lifestyle. I would be back overseas, anywhere really, but I just cannot stand the teaching anymore. I am all burnt out over the load work load and stress for low pay and for the unprofessionalism and toxic work environments I constantly experienced.
I tried to make some pivots in the past but it never worked out.
This is point, I would just love to have a remote job, paid in U.S. dollars, so then I can go back overseas.
A friend of mine who works in tech recommend I try to get into technical writing, but the whole workforce in general, and tech specifically, seems so cooked right now, it seems nearly pointless and hopeless to to break into a field with no experience competing in a field, based on what I have read here, seems to be dying.
In the end, I just wonder if anyone has any advice to make a pivot to a remote job/career that is actually tenable.
Thanks.
