I (29F) have been working from home for a couple of years. I work for a small company and don’t have much human interaction during the day. I’m a major introvert so most of the time this is great. But, I can go over a week without leaving my house or talking to a person and it’s starting to feel like everything is caving in. My main hobby is riding and showing horses which used to be my daily after work activity. A little over a year ago I had to move my horse about 3 hours away to a different trainer. Now I’m only able to ride on Saturday. So… what do I do to get out of the house during the week? I walk my dogs around the neighborhood twice a day but that’s not enough anymore. My boyfriend usually works nights so I hardly get to see him during the week. Most of my friends are from horses and they live all over the state and country. I’ve fallen into a rut lately and am feeling depressed and burnt out and like I need something in my life that isn’t work or sitting at home. So, any suggestions on what I could do?
