Hi everyone,
I have around 1 year of internship experience in DevOps and I’ve worked with a few startups on real projects, but I still feel confused about how to face interviews confidently. I’m not sure what kind of basic or commonly asked questions interviewers usually ask for a DevOps role.
I have worked on things like Linux, Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes basics, AWS basics, deployment processes, and automation tasks. Some of my projects were built while working in startups, and for some parts I also took help from AI tools for learning, debugging, and improving implementation.
My main concern is how to explain my experience properly in interviews without sounding weak or underprepared. I want to present my work honestly and confidently.
Can anyone guide me on:
What basic DevOps interview questions are most commonly asked?
How deep do interviewers expect knowledge for 1 year internship experience?
How should I explain startup experience and projects properly?
Is it okay to mention that I used AI tools during project work, and how should I explain that professionally?
Any tips to perform better in DevOps interviews?
It would really help me. Thanks a lot!
