WFH is great but being underpaid is killing my mental health

My job has turned out to be nothing like my job description – junior title but doing mid to senior level tasks covering 5 different domains with no senior. I’ve been here almost 1 year.

Though the work/life balance is good, I can’t actually afford to work this job lol. I know I am fortunate to have a job right now and 50k USD is more than most get, but I am still unable to move out of my parent’s house due to being in a HCOL. I also can’t get over how much my work is being undervalued.

I’ve done some research, and this position is at least 25-50k underpaid. This resentment is starting to leak into my everyday life and I hate it – and the thought of being 30 and living at home.
