When you work in an office, presence is visible. People see you at your desk. They know you are there.

Remote work changed that. Now responsiveness to messages is how presence gets signaled. And that created a strange new tax on knowledge workers: the need to be always-on in a channel even when you are doing deep work.

You leave a message unread for two hours and someone wonders if you are okay. You miss a Slack ping and you get a follow-up.

We built Dolly partly as a response to this. A personal AI that handles the layer of messages that can be answered from your existing context: status updates, routine coordination, information requests where the answer lives in something you already wrote or documented.

Dolly responds on your behalf. The recipient sees it came from your Dolly. You stay focused. And you do not disappear from communication, which is important for remote workers specifically.

It is not trying to replace the human parts of remote work. It is trying to reduce the visibility tax so you can do the actual work.

Building at getdolly.ai with limited spots for early organizations.
