I’m based in Italy right now, but as I speak other languages (English, French, Spanish, currently learning German), I’d really wish to find a job abroad and move. However, I just saw specified on some job descriptions on a Spanish website for tech jobs that you’re still supposed to live in the country, even though the job is advertised as 100% remote. I would relocate in a heartbeat if offered the opportunity, but as I’m still in the junior zone, so I find it hard to believe that such a possibility would be offered to me.

For context: I’m trained as a sys admin/cybersecurity admin (professional course not Bachelor) and currently working a full-time job as a sys admin on-site for a company here in Rome, while working on projects and certs to apply for junior devops roles (among others) as soon as the contract finishes (6 months, but they’d like for me to stay after).

The distances are a joke: I could literally take a flixbus to Graz or Paris (I’m not joking), but maybe there would be bureaucratical issues because my residence is not (yet) there?
