Hey everyone, from what I’ve seen it appears to be very difficult to get a remote job with no degree. So here’s my situation: I’m 8 months pregnant, and my husband’s job isn’t paying like we thought it would, and I need to find work to help make sure we can even just pay rent on time. We have one vehicle, so even just finding a desk job for me is impossible as he needs the car for work. I’ve been searching all week for anything at all, any sort of remote work in any category, customer service, tech, etc. to find anything at all I could even just apply for. I don’t have a full pledge degree, but I went to college for 2 1/2 years, 1 1/2 of those I majored in computer science, so I have experience with C#, HTML, Javascript, and basic databases. All my other work experience has been in the food/customer service industry though, so yes I have the skills to work with people, but that’s not what people want to see. I also know once I give birth I’m not going to have as free of a schedule as I do right now, so if theres anything flexible that exists, that’s what I’ll need. I’m also great with writing, and I’ve seen freelance work as an option but have no clue how to even get started with that. Basically, is there any sort of work out there for me at all? Or should I cut my losses and grind those survey apps to make maybe 15 dollars a week? We’re just really struggling right now, my husband is doing everything he can, and I need to find any other source of income that could help our situation at all. Thanks, everyone!
