Remote work for lower wage

I’m planning to relocate to Turkey for a lower cost of living. Do you think UK companies would be open to hiring someone remotely for customer service or admin roles if I offered to work for a lower salary than the UK minimum wage (since I’d be living abroad)? Has anyone tried this approach successfully?

As an independent contractor. Not employee.
