Hey so I just got a contract for a new remote job with a recruiting firm. I’m starting in a few weeks and the pto is absolutely abysmal(only 40 hrs for the entire contract) so I’m trying to figure out my travel plans for the rest of the year.
I was hoping I could work using plane wifi since the company gives mandatory VPNs to all of our laptops, but I’m reading through our secuirty policy and it looks like we aren’t supposed to use public wifi at all. Anybody have any experience with dealing with this? Could they effectively track if I logged in with a VPN through a public network once in a while?
