Remote work and chronic illness

Hello everyone,

I was hoping I could get some direction or some help with brainstorming potential avenues for finding remote work opportunities while dealing with a chronic illness.

To give some context, I have health issues that really limit my ability to leave my home for work and work long hours. I have been trying to find remote work that is more part time or project based that can be completed at my own pace. For example, I work quickly and efficiently, but those working hours might only be from 7-11 am every day for example.

My background is in environmental science and ecology. I have a PhD in the field, and I am very comfortable with reading, editing, and presenting on scientific literature. Additionally, I have a strong background in data analysis and visualization using R. However, I am not necessarily looking for work in this field, I just thought I would provide some of my more niche skills I have access to.

Any leads or direction would be greatly appreciated as I am just feeling a bit overwhelmed and lost given my current situation.
