Hi everyone, I’m currently an MSc Physics student (India) with experience in Python, data analysis, and basic ML projects. I’m looking for legitimate remote work that I can realistically do alongside exams over the next 3 months. I don’t have a network or prior freelance clients, so I’m trying to figure out what’s actually real and worth pursuing. Here’s what I’ve looked into so far: Outlier AI DataAnnotation Reedsy Discovery Kirkus Reviews (not sure if they actually pay consistently?) Gengo (applied, no response yet) ProZ (considering for German translation, but unsure if it’s beginner-friendly) I’m mainly trying to understand: Which of these are genuinely legitimate and paying right now? Are book review platforms like Reedsy or Kirkus actually viable income sources? Is freelance AI/ML work realistic without prior Upwork reviews? Where can someone with Python/ML skills start without an existing client base? I’m not looking for get-rich-quick schemes — just something legitimate, stable, and realistically achievable in 2–3 months. If you’ve personally worked with any of these platforms (or suggest better alternatives), I’d really appreciate your honest input. Thanks in advance.
