I might get roasted

I have been remote for the past 6 years. I really enjoyed WFH. I got laid off in April. I haven’t been looking too hard. I’ve been doing freelance IT consultancy work for the past 3 months. Pay is good, work is easy. Problem is that I’m bored. So, I found a full time job that is 100% onsite. I’ve been at it for 1.5 weeks and I have to say that I love being back in the office. Seeing people and talking to people has been really refreshing. This might wear off, but I’m the happiest and most fulfilled I’ve been in a few years. It is a 30 minute commute (each way), but I’m off at 3:30pm, so I don’t hit any traffic on the way in or on the way home. Anyone else experience the same?
