How my first and only application Turned Into a Remote Job.

If anyone with no experience is looking to aim for a remote job or curious about what fields offer remote.

Try out sales. I got a entry level office sales job. The one with no requirements and commission only. After a 20min “interview” i got the job and worked there for 4months, got decent-average results.

Told the manager i got a new job and wanted to move aborad. He offered me to work remote. No meetings, no checkups, completely independent.

Had a new co-worker try the same, he got brushed off, “Company policy”. He quit couple weeks later.

Moral of the story. Have something to show for. Use it as leverage and just try.

FYI: i quit for another sales job where the whole company works remote.
