Hey guys, I hope your day is going wonderful. So I need some advice, it’s regarding how to spot a scam or fake remote job. For context, I’ve only worked in person jobs(I feel like yall are like “obviously, it’s in the title”).
I feel like I probably sound dumb for my lack of knowledge in this area but I don’t want to put my application out there for a job that one, doesn’t exist. And two, is a completely fake company.
I’m trying to use common sense and say if it was fake or a scam it wouldn’t have a specific location, just a company or a country. Correct me if I’m wrong, genuinely.
I’ve had a few people get back to me and I’ve been putting in applications but again, I’m hesitant to respond because I don’t know real vs fake when it comes to remote work.
I really do appreciate anyone who’s taken the time to read and respond, even if you just read it, that’s cool too.
