I’ve been working for the same company remotely for the last 9+ years. My HR record literally says remote employee, all the good stuff. They announced today employees that live within 50 miles are expected in an office 5 days a week no matter what your status is and how you were hired. I’m a solid hour commented one way, but within the 50 miles radius.
My question is can I use a second home as my “home” address? My family owns a beach house. It’s not a rental. We all share it. Pay taxes etc. Anyone have any insight if I could do this?
