High paid remote workers, living in low income countries… what is your job and do you love doing it?

I’ve recently been thinking about moving to a low income Asian country (ex. Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, etc) and remotely working in the United States.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, please share your opinions (pros/cons) and if you regret it? Are you living the easy life? Or is it basically the same as your native country?
