4 days a week. 26 miles each way. Gas at $3.85 a gallon, my car gets 28 mpg, that’s $14.30 a week.

Parking is $19 a day, no subsidy. That’s $76 a week.

Lunch in the cafeteria averages $13 if I’m being good, $17 if I’m not. Call it $58 a week.

Wardrobe replacement, because none of my work clothes fit anymore: $400 ammortized over the year is $7.70 a week.

I am being charged for working in person. I am pre-tax paying my employer $156 a week to be there. That is $8,112 a year. I have not had a raise that big in three years.

I read this back and it’s still real.
