Do you have any neighbors with a barking dog?

I have no neighbors on my entire street with a barking dog except of course my next door neighbors. They are retired and leave their dog outside to bark, sometimes for an hour or more. This can get quite annoying.

There will be days where I don’t hear at all bark at all and then days where I do hear the barking. Sometimes I’ll just blast music to drown it out.

I mentioned something to him about it years ago and he just downplayed it.

I bought one of those ultrasonic anti-bark devices but it’s only good for so many feet and I couldn’t get close enough to the dog where the neighbors wouldn’t notice.

Have any of you run into this sort of thing and found a solution?
