Thinking of going back in office (Repost)

Worked fully remote for 4 years and loved it. Got let go due to “restructuring” and have been in job search hell for over a year. Finally have a promising opportunity but it’s fully in office. No crazy commute but the area leaves a lot to be desired. My question is, has there anyone who has been remote for a long period that has had to go back? How has that been mentally? Are there things that could make the transition easier?

I’m definitely remote first but I also like not being homeless and my savings are on a logarithmic decline as the economy progresses 🫠.
