I started working remotely a few months ago. My company works in a hybrid mode and I love WFH. But, since I am not physically in office, I am constantly anxious about missing my manager’s call, checking my mails even during break to see if I missed something out and I quickly respond if there is any message. Basically, I am trying to be always available because I work remotely and don’t want to leave a bad impression. But I think this is all going wrong for me now. I have noticed how sometimes, some of my team members/seniors reach out to me in the evening, a little past my log out time for “urgent” work. It is almost like they know that I am going to be available. I feel like I have put myself in this position and now can’t change it. Is anybody else like this? What has helped you?
