I’ve realized that managing people efficiently and leading people well are related, but still different things. Curious how you would describe the difference between a good manager and a good leader?

For me, the best leaders are the ones who can give direction, can really stay calm under pressure like they understand that work is work, lol no one’s going to die over a minor overlook or mistake. They give genuine care and support, maintain work-life balance, are easy to collaborate with, and don’t make people or subordinates feel small in the process.

I’m interested to learn other perspectives 🙂
