People to work remotely on construction quantity takeoff / BOQ preparation from drawings.

Since this work needs accuracy, deadlines, and proper understanding of plans, I’d like advice from people managing remote teams.Would really appreciate practical tips from employers, managers, or HR people.

Looking for suggestions on:

1) HR policies for remote technical staff

2) How to track productivity and accuracy without micromanaging

3) Best practices for work hours, attendance, daily/weekly reporting?

4) Communication structure and leave policies.

5) Handling deadlines, revisions, and accountability.

6) NDA/confidentiality for project drawings.

7) Payment structure: fixed salary vs per project/per drawing.

8) Any additional points to keep employees happy and maintain a good working environment.

I want to build a reliable team with strong systems, good quality, and productivity…not just people “clocking in.”
