I work remotely and most of my day is calls. The most exhausting part isn’t the meetings themselves, but finishing a string of 4-5 calls and realizing I have no idea what I was supposed to follow up on.
I’d have some notes on paper, some in Slack DMs, some in random txt files on my desktop, some in Granola meeting notes. I’d scroll back through my Granola notes and other places trying to piece it together, which felt like a dumb use of time.
So I built a small tool called Daylight. You connect it to Granola, pick a meeting, and it uses AI to pull out every action item from the notes. That’s really the whole thing. No dashboards, no project management features, just “here’s what you need to do from that call.”
You can also just use the task management side on its own without connecting Granola if you want to poke around.
I’m pretty early with this and mostly just looking for feedback from people who deal with the same problem. Right now it only works with Granola, but I’m planning to add Google Calendar and Gemini notes support next. If that’s something you’d actually use, I’d love to hear about your workflow, what tools you use for meeting notes, what falls through the cracks, etc.
It’s free, at daylight.am if anyone’s curious.
