Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some advice from people who work remotely or have successfully transitioned into remote roles.
A little about my background: I’ve spent the past few years working in customer-facing and operations roles. I’ve worked as a Territory Manager/Tour Consultant for EF Tours where I managed client relationships, drove sales, coordinated travel programs, and supported onboarding and training for new hires. I’ve also worked in Brand and Sales positions at Scribe Media, where I helped source and coordinate deals and the ambassador program. I just recently left a FOH / key holder position for a coffee shop as corporate was really burning me out.
A lot of my experience overlaps with recruiting coordination, client success, operations, and project management, but most of my roles have been hybrid or in-person. I’d really love to transition into something fully remote.
For people who work remotely in similar fields:
• What job titles should I be searching for?
• Are there certain industries that are more remote-friendly?
• Any tips for landing a remote role in today’s market?
Please no sales roles!
I’d appreciate any advice, especially from people who made a similar transition. Thanks in advance!
