Our remote team was hitting a wall with back-to-back Zoom calls. Everyone had cameras off, nobody talked unless spoken to — you know the drill.

Our team lead started dropping a browser game link in chat right before standups. No downloads, everyone just clicks and draws the same prompt in 60 seconds. An AI judges the drawings instead of people voting (so no popularity contest BS).

Honestly felt silly the first time but after a week people started actually turning cameras on and laughing. The rounds are so short it doesn’t eat into meeting time either.

I put together a list of games that work well for this — browser-based stuff that doesn’t need anyone to install anything: doodleduel.ai/blog/games-to-play-on-zoom

Anyone else doing something similar? What’s worked for your team?
