I’ve spent years feeling like i was forcing myself into a routine that just wrecked me. New job is 2 days in the office and the rest remote and its been night and day. Office days are social and varied so I dont get cabin fever, and WFH days let me manage my mental health, sleep a bit more and actually get things done without constant burnout.
Small, silly thing: on WFH days i take short breaks to play mobile games and unwind, and i use Mistpâ¤lay so those breaks earn me a few gift cards. Feels low effort and helpful at the same time. If you were on the fence about remote or hybrid, give it a shot if you can..my quality of life went up way more than I expected.
