Handshake AI and Deel work or scam?

I got an invite for Handshake AI and did their assessments and got put on a project. Now I have to make a Deel account and put in sensitive information. I just don’t know if I should do that. A lot of people have had issues with such platforms and I don’t want my information to be mishandled. Is it safe or worth the risk? Do they actually pay? Have you all had any issues by putting in your info into Deel like SSN or bank details?
