W’ll this would not be my first remote job since I did it a couple of months during COVID. It was as accountant assistant for the University I graduated from. My main duty was auditing expenses and making sure information for graduates was accurate.

I have my college degree as Public Accountant, I enjoy personal finances, love budgeting and all the checking and entering receipts, I guess that would be bookkeeping, keep an immaculate track of my own expenses, income, extra income here and there. So basically I have down my own with no issues, that makes me think I would be able to help someone else that struggles keeping everything organized. That would be my dream job to be honest. But beggars can’t be choosers so here I am looking for advice.

Anyways, I’m currently working full time in an office as accountant for an university, I love it, but I don’t love the environment and they have gotten pretty rigid lately, to the point someone was taking my time when I would go to the restroom. So I would like to have my own space and pretty much not being babysat by any other coworkers. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind my supervisor asking or overseeing my work, I know how to do my job so I would like to be treated as such.

Personal situation that had made me stick around is I am pregnant, due in December 16 approx and this job has awesome benefits like 12 weeks paid maternity leave so basically I can take being babysat for couple more months. But after baby is born I would love to switch to a remote job that will allow me to at least make my own schedule on a full time position.

So the question, how can I market myself and what can I look for when looking for a remote job?

Should I start applying even when I may no start until the end of February?
