A couple of years ago I was told I needed to abruptly end my dream career as an automotive technician due to a genetic disability that made me more susceptible to permanent physical injuries. Since then I have tried and failed to find a more accommodating job but no one would take my physical restrictions. I recently started trying to find remote work but I feel like my work experience and education doesn’t fit anything and I feel like most of the jobs I find come from shady looking companies and I don’t know how to effectively weed out the fake or problematic ones.
I am not seeking pity, I would just really like some help in figuring out where I should start looking and whether or not I have any skills that transfer well to remote work.
Thank you ahead of time for any help.
