Finally offered a fully remote roll. And I think I’m going to decline it

Trust me. I love remote work

I was offered a role (10% pay cut) that would be fully remote. 16 PTO days and 7 holidays.

Current role I have 23 days of PTO, plus 4 extra personal holidays, and 6 holidays a year. It’s hybrid

Made me realize the thing that I was fighting for wasn’t actually what I care about most. It’s not remote work, it’s time off.
