Hey everyone, remote worker here 👋. I constantly wrestle with scheduling calls across time zones (EU/US/Asia). Tools like Calendly/Doodle exist, but they often feel overkill:
- Require sign-ups or calendar access
- Get bloated with features I don’t need
- Confuse clients with complex interfaces
I’m testing an idea: “Time Zone Handshake”
Imagine this:
- You pick your time zone + available slots (e.g., “Mon 2-4pm PT”).
- Generate a link.
- Send it to someone. They see your slots auto-converted to THEIR local time.
- They click one slot → done. No accounts. No BS.
Why?
- For quick calls (e.g., “Let’s chat next week”)
- When scheduling with non-techy people (clients, grandparents)
- Avoiding 15 “What time works?” back-and-forth emails
Question for you:
- Would this actually help you? Or is your current workflow “good enough”?
- What’s your biggest frustration with current scheduling tools?
- Dealbreakers? (e.g., must work on mobile, no sign-in, etc.)
